Time marches on...

While we had the kids in town, we got together with some other good friends and got a shot of these same kids almost 6 years later. What happened to our babies?

And here's one of all the kids that could make it for a pancake breakfast graciously hosted by our friend.

Our friends

Katie got to go and spend a few days in Austin a few weeks ago, but had to come home early because she got sick. So we had their kids come here for a couple of days and then we all went to Austin for a couple of days. We had lots of fun, bowling, going to six flags, roller skating, making duct tape everything and most importantly spending time with our sweet friends. We had such a great time!

Robots

The other day the kids were being nice and quiet while I studied. I was kind of afraid to go upstairs, but this is what I found. They made  robots from the recycle bin and all of my foil. Lizzy made one too, but hers went dancing and didn't survive.

4th of July

For the fourth of July, we went to the city parade with the Russian students and some family friends.  Then we had all of the Russian students and their teachers and a couple of families over to bbq and swim. After, we walked down to the park and watched the fireworks. It was a beautiful day and not even too hot.

New Russian Students

In June and July, we decided to host another set of Russian students. We had so much fun with them and really miss them. They are such sweet girls.

  Vlada with Katie

And another Vlada (that was a bit confusing)

Grandpa Wiley

I have gotten a bit behind with my blogging because we were too busy living our life.
Anyways, awhile back, Grandpa Wiley came to Dallas to have some tests run and stayed with us for the evening. We went out to Hibachi and celebrated his 84th birthday! He played some songs and sang around the piano and we all had a nice evening.
