Easter

On Easter, Cookie celebrated one year with our family! Jackie was also adopted around Easter and she has been with us for 8 years now!

Today we went out running errands and noticed there was a carnival in the mall parking lot so we rode a couple of rides. I was trying to get a shot of the four of us but it turns out taking a group selfie on a tilt a whirl is a bit difficult. 

The girls later had an Easter Egg hunt with Girl Scouts.

 

Easter 2014

We celebrated Easter a week late because we were waiting on Theo's mom to join us from India. We had a very nice day. 

Easter Bunny!

Katie, Grandma and I went to the flea market Friday. We could not resist bringing home our own little Easter Bunny! She was so soft and adorable! We decided to call her Cookie.

She's not too sure about cuddles,

but she loves exercise in the bathroom!

The Easter Bunny came on Sunday morning and the girls enjoyed finding their eggs. I totally forgot to get a family Easter photo when we were all dressed up.

Easter Activities

On Good Friday, we went to my Mom and Jerry's choir cantata at the Lutheran church.

On Saturday, we went to the egg hunt at church and had lots of fun but forgot to take the camera. On Easter, the girls got to find eggs that the Easter bunny brought - I'll add those pictures in another post, followed by church and then lunch at some friends. After, we came home to have our own Easter dinner, followed by hiding out in the closet (isn't that a treasured Easter tradition?) and then when it cleared up, we did our Resurrection Eggs.

Cute new dresses

The girls have been anxiously awaiting the dresses Aunt Mercy had promised them and they finally came today! They are beautiful knit dresses - Aunt Mercy has way more patience than I do. They wanted to show her the pictures right away, so I'll be replacing them later when they are dressed up for church so check back. Thanks!! (I got a new picture of Katie, but Lizzy looked better here since she was busy throwing a fit Sunday)

The Easter Bunny came while we were at church. It was rainy so he hid the eggs and candy inside.
