Merry-Go-Round

My poor children are extremely deprived. There are no merry-go-rounds near where we live as all the parks have been updated and everything that can kill you has been removed so nothing is fun anymore. So when we found this park that looked like it had been there since the 70's we had to go for awhile. Even us old people got in on the fun!

Birthday Party

While in Kansas, we celebrated Lizzy's birthday a second time.

 A pillow pet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had been begging for one forever.

This darn movie made me cry. 

Kansas Visit

For Thanksgiving, we went to visit family in Kansas. We had a great time. We enjoyed a yummy turkey dinner, went to the Kansas City Plaza and saw the lights, went to the Dinosaur museum, celebrated Lizzy's birthday, and played in an old-timey park which actually has a merry-go-round. On the way home, we stopped in and saw some family I hadn't seen since I was a kid. Totally forgot to take any pictures, but they were very sweet and hosted us for a nice lunch before the long drive home.

Somehow, my baby turned 5 today. Happy Birthday, Lizzy, we love you!

Christmas Decorations

We were just too excited for Christmas this year (as always) to wait for Thanksgiving, so we put up our Christmas decorations a little early. And what a relief to come home from our trip to an already decorated house! Hopefully I'll get some shots of the outside soon too.

Lizzy's Birthday

 Lizzy had a great time at her 5th birthday party on Saturday. The weather was beautiful! She enjoyed having fun with her friends.
