Vultures, headhogs and kites

The dead rabbit clean up crew visited our street and did a great job. These are black vultures. They have pretty white tips on their wings.

It has finally gotten warm enough to go for a walk.

Lizzy got to pet my mentor teacher's hedgehog. She is adorable.

We had to get out and fly our kite before March ended. We actually got it up for half an hour!

Way up! See that little speck up there?

Snow!

We had two snow days in January and February. The girls had lots of fun sledding.

Before the kids got out and ruined it.

Jackie did not like the snow. It is cold and hurts her feet. She decided to pee in the office later when no one was looking.

Old Fashioned Games Day

A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a day of old fashioned games for Girl Scouts. They all had fun playing jacks, marbles, musical chairs, potato sack races, egg and spoon races, hold an orange between your knees races, and pin the tail on the donkey.

Trick Or Treating

For Halloween, we went trick-or-treating with some neighborhood friends. The girls all had lots of fun. We completely wore ourselves out, and got tons of candy!

Lizzy was a pink fairy and even got the neighbor to paint her face really pretty.

Katie was Taylor Swift.

We were all brave enough to walk by the neighborhood cemetery on Halloween.

And we only saw one ghost.
