Some of my favorite books of all time are the Little House on the Praire Series. So I was really excited to go visit her home. This is not her actual house, but a reproduction on the foundation where the Little House was. It was so exciting to see what she saw and how she lived. I cannot even imagine living with 4 other people in a house that small, much less staying in that wagon for months on end. The fortitude of the pioneers always amazes me, and makes me wonder what I would have done. I'm guessing I'd have stayed back east.
