For Lizzy's troop camp this year, we went to Lake Ray Hubbard. It was absolutely beautiful - the weather was perfect too.
Katie and I got to sleep in a tent for the first time. Lizzy was sick and had to stay home but was able to join us on Saturday. She relapsed on Saturday evening from all the exertion and we went home early but at least she got to enjoy a little of her camp experience.
Christina loaned me her tent and cots. We enjoyed it so much, I think we are going to buy our own and go again.
Jasmine got to celebrate her birthday at camp!
We went fishing but the girls weren't leaving their lines in the water long enough to catch anything. But they had lots of fun learning to cast.
Lizzy caught a frog.
Saturday afternoon we went to the beach. It was a bit to cold to swim so we let them go in up to their knees. Most wound up soaked head to toe anyways.
Then we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows around the campfire.
