Katie was chosen to be one of the MC's for the event! She did a great job of speaking out and remembering her lines!

Katie's classmate whom she helped learn English. Linh came to the USA mid-year and spoke no English. Katie's teacher assigned her to Katie she loved helping her learn new things!
On the last day of school, all the students "clap out" the graduating 5th graders. Katie passes by at 48 seconds. Katie cried a bit, but when I went to get Lizzy, she was a blubbering mess between her sister leaving school and her teacher's retirement.
