Aquarium with Mercy

The girls and I went to see the Dallas World Aquarium with Aunt Mercy.

We all loved the giant Manatee. He looked like a giant balloon. We were lucky to get such a great view of him.

One of our favorites were the leafy sea dragons. They don't even look real.

We had so much fun watching these garden eels. Every time the guy on the right tried to come up, the guy on the left popped him on the head and scared him back down in his hole. It was so funny to see. Maybe they need bully counseling in the sea.

I loved this fish with the happy face.

We called Grandma in India and Lizzy told her that she went to the aquarium. Grandma asked what was her favorite? She replied "the jaguar". All the best aquariums have jaguars you know.

Aunt Mercy and Uncle Deen's visit

Uncle Deen and Aunt Mercy came down for Katie's Baptism, but we had a lot of fun with them before it.

We enjoyed celebrating the 4th of July with some of Deen's family.

Aunt Mercy brought the three of us some beautiful outfits from India.

And some shots from the airport just before they left. We hope to see them again soon!

Girl Scouts Camp 2013

We did a family camp out with the girls' scout troops this spring in Oklahoma. We stayed in the same camp we stayed two or three years ago when we did it. The weather was beautiful - not horribly hot and we had lots of fun! Some dads even came, but Theo didn't because he had an India v. Pakistan cricket game to watch, and family time is important, but not that important.
