This weekend we went to Kansas to visit the grandparents. We had lots of fun. First, granting Katie's request, we returned to the river we visited last time and collected more fossils.
Then we went to the old style park where we fed the ducks, followed by a ride on a hard to find merry-go-round.
Katie lost another tooth and found out the the tooth fairy pays really well in Kansas.
After being stuck in the house all day because of the rain, the next day we went to Kansas City where we walked around the plaza.
That evening, we went on a flight with Grandpa. This was our first chance to fly in a small plane. It was scary at first, but after we got going, it was fun and it was so pretty looking out.
I even got to steer for a few seconds before I totally chickened out.
