We got two bad hail storms this spring. The first was only small sized hail, but there was so much of it it sounded like the roof was going to fall in. It was very loud in the house. I have never heard such loud hail ever.
A few weeks later, was hailpocalypse. We got eggsized hail. Here is the hail with an egg to compare with. We now need a new roof and it broke one of our windows, but we consider ourselves very lucky. Five miles east of us, they got grapefruit sized hail. It broke every window, and smashed all the way through roofs. My friend got 25 giant holes in her roof and then rain continued to poor in and nearly destroy her house.
